Jim Curtis appeared on the \u201cToday\u201d show<\/a> Monday, breaking down exactly how he and the \u201cFriends\u201d alum began dating.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were just introduced by friends,\u201d the hypnotherapist, 50, said while promoting his upcoming book, \u201cBook of Possibility.\u201d<\/a> <\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s it. We found out that we had mutual friends and we started to just chat.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jim Curtis shared exactly how he and Jennifer Aniston began dating on the \u201cToday\u201d show Monday.<\/p>\n

Co-host Craig Melvin asked whether Joey or Ross \u2014 \u201cFriends\u201d characters \u2014 were the ones behind the matchup.<\/p>\n

Curtis, joking that it was \u201call the \u2018Friends\u2019 stars,\u201d then clarified that they \u201cchatted for a long time\u201d and \u201cbecame close.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt took a long time,\u201d he said \u2014 but stayed tight-lipped when asked exactly how long he and the actress have been an item.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just started to chat,\u201d the hypnotherapist recalled on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cA long time,\u201d Curtis told Melvin. \u201cMonths now, almost close to a year.\u201d<\/p>\n

When the journalist joked that he needed to stop putting Curtis \u201con the spot\u201d because he was \u201ckind of blushing,\u201d Curtis confirmed, \u201cOK, yeah. I sure am.\u201d<\/p>\n

He and Aniston, 56, were first spotted together last summer vacationing in Spain<\/a> with her A-list pals.<\/p>\n

Four months after their July 2025 getaway, the duo went Instagram-official<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Curtis (pictured above in August 2025) did not specify when he met the actress. BACKGRID<\/p>\n

He did, however, tell \u201cToday\u201d viewers Monday that they are coming up on one year together.<\/p>\n

Aniston posted a black-and-white shot from Curtis\u2019 50th birthday party in November 2025, writing, \u201cHappy birthday my love. Cherished \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

Curtis, for his part, shared similar snaps<\/a> at the time and gushed, \u201cIf this is a dream I don\u2019t want to wake up. \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later that same month, Aniston praised her \u201cextraordinary\u201d partner<\/a> in an Elle interview, calling him \u201cvery special, very normal and very kind.\u201d<\/p>\n
