Hollyoaks has revealed the status of Dodger Savage and Theresa McQueen’s future after airing heartbreaking new scenes. <\/p>\n

Viewers know that Dodger was raped last year<\/a> in a harrowing ordeal that aired during an episode of Hollyoaks: Later. Dodger has kept the trauma of being raped to himself and only Cleo and Donny know the truth<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Since getting back with his ex, Theresa, Dodger has been distant and in tonight’s episode<\/a>, Theresa sensed that Dodger was pulling away so she gently questioned him about what was wrong. <\/p>\n

Speaking to Mercedes, Theresa said she understood her struggles after turning to sex work in Japan after her influencer work fell through, admitting that Warren helped her through it. <\/p>\n

After an intoxicated Mercedes hit Theresa, she apologised. Theresa told Mercedes that she was worried Dodger already knew her secret, saying he pulled away whenever they tried to be intimate. <\/p>\n

Warren offered to help Dodger fix Myra-Pocahontas’ broken toy, and Dodger snapped. When Warren mocked him, saying he wasn’t a “man\u2019s man”, Dodger walked away.<\/p>\n

Later, Dodger overheard Warren saying that he had been acting strangely since his attack in Liverpool, saying: “He’s been acting like a baby ever since.”<\/p>\n

After being taunted by Warren and with the weight of his trauma too much to bear, Dodger broke down, telling everyone he was beaten and raped.<\/p>\n

“It weren’t just a slap. I weren’t just beaten up. I was raped,” Dodger said, adding: “I was restrained at gunpoint. I was beaten and then I was raped. That’s what happened.”<\/p>\n

Alone, Theresa told Dodger how brave he was for speaking out, saying: “Dodger, that is the bravest thing I’ve ever seen.”<\/p>\n

When Dodger told Theresa that his rapist had “taken everything” from him, she said: “You just need to tell me what I have to do to be as brave as you so that I can help you.” The couple said they loved each other and shared an emotional embrace. <\/p>\n

Back at the flat, Sienna confronted Cleo for not telling her the truth after noticing that Cleo wasn’t shocked when Dodger told them what happened. <\/p>\n

Outside, Dodger broke down while standing in the rain and Theresa collapsed in floods of tears while alone in the bathroom. <\/p>\n

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming<\/a> premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.<\/p>\n
