Although Yellowstone and its first spinoff, 1923, both wrapped up per Sheridan\u2019s original plans, Mayor Of Kingstown was not so lucky. The showrunner said he had an ambitious seven-season plan for the crime show, but its unexpected cancellation means that these stories will now need to be crammed into the final eight episodes of season 5.<\/p>\n

Since Landman season 2\u2019s biggest failure<\/a> was stretching out its sparse story, it might not be a bad thing for Mayor of Kingstown to wrap up quickly.
