Andrew Wiggins of the Miami Heat continues to draw strong trade interest. <\/p>\n

The Miami Heat<\/a> are once again linked to trade discussions involving Andrew Wiggins<\/a>, as multiple NBA insiders report renewed dialogue with the Golden State Warriors<\/a> centered on a potential reunion with the former All-Star wing.<\/p>\n

According to ClutchPoints\u2019 Brett Siegel, Miami and Golden State have engaged in conversations in recent days about what it would take to send Wiggins back to the Bay Area, as both teams reassess their rosters ahead of the trade deadline.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been a lot of discussion over the last couple of days about the Warriors and Heat discussing what it would take to send Andrew Wiggins back to Golden State,\u201d Siegel wrote on X<\/a>. \u201cThe Warriors continue to remain active on the trade market.\u201d<\/p>\n

Heat, Warriors Discuss Trade Framework<\/p>\n

Earlier Tuesday, NBA<\/a> insider Jake Fischer\u00a0said discussions between the two teams have gone beyond preliminary check-ins.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s absolutely some type of framework that\u2019s being discussed \u2014 and has been discussed \u2014 between Golden State and Miami to send Jonathan Kuminga<\/a> to the Heat and bring Andrew Wiggins back to the Warriors,\u201d Fischer said<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Bleacher Report\u2019s Insider Notebook.<\/p>\n

NBA insider Marc Stein previously reported that Golden State will explore trade scenarios using Kuminga as the central piece in any deal that would bring Wiggins back to the Warriors.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeague sources tell The Stein Line that one avenue which will certainly be explored is the prospect of a Kuminga-for-Andrew Wiggins swap with Miami,\u201d Stein reported<\/a>\u00a0Friday in\u00a0The Stein Line.<\/p>\n

Andrew Wiggins Continues Steady Production in Miami<\/p>\n

Despite his uncertain future, Wiggins remains part of Miami\u2019s rotation and continues to provide consistent two-way production.<\/p>\n

He finished with 10 points on 5-of-12 shooting, 10 rebounds, and three assists in 23 minutes during Sunday\u2019s 111\u2013102 win over the Phoenix Suns<\/a>, recording his first double-double of the season.<\/p>\n

While Wiggins\u2019 scoring output was modest and he did not make a 3-pointer in the game, his rebounding helped stabilize Miami\u2019s frontcourt. Through 43 games, the 30-year-old has scored in double figures 39 times and reached 15 points or more on 25 occasions, offering steady offensive contribution without being a primary scoring option.<\/p>\n

Miami\u2019s interest in Kuminga is not new.<\/p>\n

When the Heat sent Butler to Golden State last February, they pressed to include the 23-year-old forward in the deal. The Warriors declined, opting instead to send Wiggins, Kyle Anderson<\/a>, and a first-round pick.<\/p>\n

Kuminga\u2019s agent, Aaron Turner, confirmed Miami\u2019s pursuit last spring during an appearance on NBC Sports Bay Area\u2019s Dubs Talk podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last memory Joe and Mike had of JK was him playing great,\u201d Turner said<\/a>,\u00a0referring to Warriors owner Joe Lacob and general manager Mike Dunleavy<\/a> Jr.
\u201cSo they weren\u2019t going to just throw him in a deal \u2014 especially with Miami \u2014 when they knew Miami had to move Jimmy. And trust me, the Heat asked for Jonathan Kuminga.\u201d<\/p>\n
