On Tuesday, 14th\/27th January 2026, His Beatitude received:<\/p>\n
Two physicians, together with Hieromonk Gerasimos from Jaffa, and the nun Mariam.
\nMrs Elisavet Kulinski, responsible for the Russian-speaking flock of the Patriarchate.
\nThe Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Milorad Dodic, who thanked His Beatitude for the visit accorded to him and informed Him of matters concerning his country. In response, His Beatitude expounded the pastoral, religious, Christian, humanitarian, and multicultural mission of the Patriarchate in the Holy Land from its very foundations, particularly about the Most Holy Sepulchre and Golgotha.
\nThe Ambassador of Belarus to Israel, Mr Yury Simakov, who congratulated His Beatitude on the New Civil Year and informed Him that flights to his country had resumed. He also requested His Beatitude\u2019s blessing to participate in the ceremony of the Holy Light this coming Pascha.
\nThereafter, His Beatitude sanctified the building of the renovated Patriarchal Kindergarten, which for many years had been used by the Patriarchate as a Primary School of the flourishing Greek community during the 19th and 20th centuries, with its last Headmasters being Mr Georgios Krimpan and Mr Konstantinos Leovarin.<\/p>\n
