Ryan Reynolds isn\u2019t apologizing for his unsealed texts<\/a> blasting Justin Baldoni.<\/p>\n

After Reynolds\u2019 texts were exposed as the court battle<\/a> between the actor\u2019s wife, Blake Lively, and Baldoni rages on, his rep defended him, noting Reynolds was sticking up for Lively.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, Ryan got involved \u2014 what husband wouldn\u2019t support his wife and the\u00a0mother of his children?\u201d a rep for Reynolds\u00a0told Puck News<\/a>\u00a0in response to the outlet\u2019s article titled, \u201cIs Blake Really Unhireable \u2014 and Can Ryan Escape the Blast Radius?\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor\u2019s rep noted Reynolds was defending his wife, Blake Lively, and \u201cif anything, feels like he wasn\u2019t angry enough.\u201d Getty Images<\/p>\n

\u201cHe saw his wife fighting daily to stand up against sexual harassment in a private and respectful way, only to face retaliation for doing so,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cIf anything, Ryan feels like he wasn\u2019t angry enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

His rep concluded, \u201cHe passionately believes in and will stand up for the basic right to a safe workplace free of harassment and retaliation for his wife and others. Then, now and always.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reynolds\u2019 unsealed texts included the \u201cDeadpool\u201d star bringing up Johnny Depp\u2019s\u00a0infamous defamation court battle<\/a>\u00a0with Amber Heard while messaging with his talent agent, Warren Zavala, in August 2024.<\/p>\n

Zavala allegedly wrote of Baldoni in documents obtained by TMZ, \u201cI hope this fraud s\u2013t weasel is exposed. I just want to protect our downside. The movie working is everything. Let\u2019s see if the noise subsides.\u201d<\/p>\n

Along with a link to media coverage over the \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d stars battling over a final cut to the movie, Zavala wrote, \u201cThis is all spin. I think we let it burn.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reynolds then responded<\/a>, \u201cHow\u2019d that work out for Depp??\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Zavala wrote that the case \u201cCratered both of them ultimately\u201d before reportedly slamming Baldoni as an \u201cegotistical s\u2013t weasel with a god complex\u201d and Reynolds labeling the director a \u201chuman rounding error.\u201d<\/p>\n

More unsealed texts from July 2024 also included Reynolds, 49, allegedly calling Baldoni, 42, a \u201cthoroughbred, predatory fraudster\u201d <\/a>and an \u201cinexplicably toxic mess.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lively is suing her \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d director and co-star for allegedly sexually harassing her on set. GC Images<\/p>\n

Despite all the drama, Baldoni was spotted in good spirits celebrating his birthday surfing in Costa Rica<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

In pics obtained by Page Six, Baldoni\u2019s seen smiling and laughing with his wife, Emily, and their two kids: Maiya Grace, 10, and Maxwell Roland-Samuel, 8.<\/p>\n

Lively, 38, sued Baldoni in December 2024<\/a> for allegedly sexually harassing her on the set of \u201cIt Ends With Us,\u201d which Baldoni has repeatedly denied.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Ryan Reynolds isn\u2019t apologizing for his unsealed texts blasting Justin Baldoni.
