Ariana Grande is revisiting some of her old fashion choices.<\/p>\n
The \u201cWicked\u201d actress sat down with Vogue<\/a> to flip through 21 looks \u2014 from her first red carpet to her most recent and everything in between.<\/p>\n Though Grande has had many a fashion era, one of her most memorable was nearly a decade ago when she stared a trend<\/a> by nearly exclusively wearing oversized sweatshirts (sans pants) and thigh-high boots.<\/p>\n \u201cThis was a very strange time in my life,\u201d she shared, looking at a photo of herself leaving her old New York City apartment in a black sweatshirt, thigh high boots and a green belt bag around her waist.<\/p>\n \u201cI was processing a lot, and I always wanted to hide away in something really cozy. But I remember that the boots still made me feel c\u2014t,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Grande continued, \u201cI genuinely, at the time, did not have the mental energy to consider clothing. So, the easiest thing for me was to throw on a sweatshirt and a c\u2014ty boot and that was how it happened.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was processing a lot, and I always wanted to hide away in something really cozy,\u201d she shared. In 2017, she was performing in Manchester, England when a bomber killed 22<\/a> and injured more than 500 people at her concert.<\/p>\n Of the event, she later shared<\/a>, \u201cMay 22, 2017, will leave me speechless and filled with questions for the rest of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n In September 2018, her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller died of an accidental overdose<\/a> at the age of 26. She also had a whirlwind relationship<\/a> with Pete Davidson which began in May with an engagement less than one month later<\/a> \u2014 and a break up in October 2018<\/a>.<\/p>\n Just a few months ago, Grande made a rare comment<\/a> about the late rapper, sharing, \u201cI had him to thank for finding my sound\u201d and revealing that it was him who helped her shed her Nickelodeon character<\/a> and embrace her natural brown hair; \u201cMalcom \u2026 encouraged me to be myself.\u201d<\/p>\n Her most recent transformation included dyeing her hair blond for her role in \u201cWicked.\u201d AP<\/p>\n The star also threw shade at haters of her straight eyebrows, saying \u201cI love them.\u201d FilmMagic<\/p>\n Grande discusses the bright red hair she sported on the channel in the new video, too.<\/p>\n Laughing, she jokes that she \u201csigned over\u201d her hair to Nickelodeon when she landed the role of Cat on \u201cVictorious,\u201d resulting in her bright red hue.<\/p>\n She also clapped back at haters of one of her other more notable features. \u201cThese are my bushy eyebrows. Look, I was figuring it out here,\u201d she said when presented with a photo from \u201cVictorious.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cThis was right in between when they were arch-y, and then I started to straighten them right around this era, actually, because I like them that way. I know you don\u2019t. But I love them. I\u2019m so sorry.
