According to a new report from Deadline, an early look at the box office previews for Melania seem somewhat promising. The film is \u201cgaining steam\u201d in presales, and could debut somewhere in the range of $5 million or more. Should that occur, it would be the best marks in a decade for a documentary, beating out Angel Studios\u2019 2023 film After Death. <\/p>\n
Talk of Melania\u2019s box office demand, or lack thereof, has been ongoing for a week or so now. According to recent reports, the film has\u00a0faced fairly small ticket turnout<\/a>. The social media account EmpireCity Box Office also chimed in on Belloni\u2019s report, noting that \u201calmost nobody wants to play\u201d the movie, and that the theatrical release continues to shrink.<\/p>\n Melania is set to have its premiere on January 30, 2026, and will premiere at the Kennedy Center before having a theatrical release.
