Ryan Reynolds<\/a> is standing by his woman, leaked text messages be damned. In a statement to Puck News<\/a>, Reynolds\u2019 reps said he did not regret getting involved in the It Ends With Us<\/a> behind-the-scenes drama and ensuing legal battles. \u201cYes, Ryan got involved \u2014 what husband wouldn\u2019t support his wife and the mother of his children?\u201d they said. \u201cHe saw his wife fighting daily to stand up against sexual harassment in a private and respectful way, only to face retaliation for doing so.\u201d<\/p>\n A number of Reynolds\u2019 text messages \u2014 in threads with or without Lively \u2014 have been unsealed in recent weeks, as Lively\u2019s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios continues. In one group text<\/a> between Lively, Reynolds, Matt Damon, and Luciana Barroso Damon, Reynolds described the It Ends With Us set as \u201cin the pantheon of legendary Hollywood Insanity,\u201d and worthy of a big screen adaptation itself. \u201cOne day, we\u2019ll make a movie about the movie,\u201d he wrote. He also texted his WME agent Warren Zavala that he was \u201csuper frustrated<\/a>\u201d because rumors of BTS drama was ruining the good box office of It Ends With Us. Reynolds wrote that Wayfarer had \u201cmade a big fucking mess,\u201d and that Lively \u201cshould not be subjected to some eye-roll-y narrative of the \u2018controlling bitch.\u2019\u201d Reynolds\u2019 rep said he has no regrets. Well, maybe one: \u201cIf anything, Ryan feels like he wasn\u2019t angry enough,\u201d he said. \u201cHe passionately believes in and will stand up for the basic right to a safe workplace free of harassment and retaliation for his wife and others.
