Spiritbox<\/a> have been tapped to perform at the 2026 Grammys<\/a> Premiere Ceremony following their nomination for Best Metal Performance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Grammys unveiled the lineup for the event, at which most of the awards are handed out. The Premiere Ceremony will also feature performances by Darren Criss and Helen J Shen, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Zara Larsson, and an ensemble led by Grace Potter. Criss will serve as host, with the concert streaming on YouTube<\/a> and the Grammys website<\/a> starting Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Premiere Ceremony is one of the most exciting parts of Grammy weekend,\u201d Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason jr. said in the announcement release<\/a>. \u201cWitnessing the ceremony, you see the wide range of genres and crafts that make up our music community, and all the people who push music forward. I can\u2019t wait to see this year\u2019s lineup of presenters and performers kick off Grammy Sunday and help celebrate as we present the first awards of the day.\u201d<\/p>\n

As mentioned, Spiritbox were also nominated for Best Metal Performance for their song \u201cSoft Spine,\u201d an inclusion on their 2025 album Tsunami Sea. That marks the prog-metal band\u2019s third consecutive Grammy nod in that category, so at this point, there\u2019s no excuse for not recognizing singer Courtney LaPlante on the red carpet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Grammys appearance will kick off a what looks to be another big year for Spiritbox. Next up, the band is set to support a significant portion of Evanescence\u2019s 2026 tour<\/a> this summer.
