\n\tMargot Robbie<\/a> channeled the aesthetic qualities and visual language of \u201cWuthering Heights<\/a>\u201d in a custom look by Schiaparelli<\/a> for the film\u2019s Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday night. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Oscar-nominated actress evoked romance, passion and drama, as the French luxury fashion house <\/a>intended with the custom look. The bustier gown, by couturier and Schiaparelli<\/a> artist director Daniel Roseberry, was designed with a corset top in a nude jersey and black chantilly lace overlay adorned with gold metal eyelets at the back, per Schiaparelli.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe dress also featured cascading voluminous tiers of velvet that transitioned to satin, with a red to black fumato effect. \u201cIf we were to make \u2018Wuthering Heights\u2019 into a dress what would it look like?\u201d Robbie told Variety of the garment on the red carpet. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was this idea of [the dress] soaking up the ground, which we knew was going to be red carpet, or [in this case] red lacquered floor and having it kind of seep up into the dress, and then the lace and the dark decay of the Wuthering Heights,\u201d the actress and producer said. Robbie also teased that her promotional tour looks would \u201cevolve\u201d over the next few weeks of press and continue to channel the film.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs for jewelry, Robbie accessorized with a Fred\u00a0Leighton\u00a019th century ruby and diamond ring, along with a statement heart pendant Taj Mahal diamond necklace that previously belong to Elizabeth Taylor and was worn on a gold chain by Cartier. She also wore custom Lorraine Schwartz earrings. Robbie\u2019s look was curated by stylist Andrew Mukamal.<\/p>\n

\n\tMethod dressing is not a new tact that Robbie\u2019s employed as part of a film\u2019s promotional tour. During the press run for \u201cBarbie\u201d in 2023, Robbie collaborated with Mukamal on several looks inspired by the famous doll. Among the designer pieces Robbie wore, a Vivienne Westwood-designed gown<\/a> based on the 1960 \u201cEnchanted Evening\u201d Barbie was featured on the red carpet at the London premiere of the box office juggernaut.<\/p>\n
