She was handed a <a target=\"_self\" class=\"e1yy41x40 ef9u0v01 css-1ankfgb ecgc78b0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/sport\/other-sport\/article\/3337531\/2026-winter-olympics-isu-bosses-leave-speed-skater-lams-milan-dream-hanging-thread?module=inline&amp;pgtype=article\" title=\"\" data-qa=\"BaseLink-renderAnchor-StyledAnchor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">last-minute reprieve<\/a> when Great Britain\u2019s unused spot was reallocated.<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Darren Kwok (left) and Joey Lam will compete across three short-track events at the Games.
