Stephen Colbert<\/a>\u2018s studio audience couldn\u2019t contain their displeasure, erupting in boos after the late night host recapped a bizarre donor email sent by Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During his monologue for Thursday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Late Show,\u201d Colbert shared with his studio audience the odd fundraising email Trump sent to MAGA supporters, which was titled, \u201cAre you an illegal alien?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a weirdly accusatory greeting,\u201d Colbert sounded off. \u201cIt\u2019s like getting a birthday card that says, \u2018Happy birthday, Grandpa. Are you a cannibal?\u2019 The only email subject line more shocking is the one that tells you all the hot MILFs in your area are only one mile from you and lonely tonight. What are the odds?\u201d<\/p>\n

As Colbert continued, he highlighted just how \u201cweird\u201d the donor request was, blasting it as \u201ctruly strange.\u201d<\/p>\n

While doing his Trump impression, Colbert read out the email, which stated, \u201cI reached out last week about my citizens only survey. Your file says you\u2019re a top MAGA patriot, but my records to my survey still say response pending. Don\u2019t tell me you\u2019re an illegal alien. That cannot be true. This is your final moment to prove me wrong. Please. Please. Are you a proud American citizen or does ICE need to come and track you down?\u201d<\/p>\n

The last line appeared to strike a nerve with Colbert\u2019s studio audience \u2014 especially in the wake of the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti<\/a> in Minneapolis by ICE. Those in the crowd at Colbert\u2019s taping broke out into loud booing, prompting the comedian to briefly pause his address.<\/p>\n

\u201cHoly cow,\u201d Colbert noted. \u201cThat\u2019s not a fundraising email. That\u2019s blackmail.\u201d<\/p>\n

The late night host also slammed the email as \u201cthe most unhinged combination of desperate emotions and font styles I\u2019ve ever seen.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like getting an email from Xfinity that reads, \u2018Your account is overdue. My file says you love the internet, but my survey still says response pending,\u2019\u201d he further joked. \u201c\u2018Do you even love internet or do I need to kill you?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
