Someone read The Secret. In a Guardian<\/a> reader Q&A, Nick Frost said he wrote the word \u201cHagrid\u201d on a piece of paper 7,000 times in order to secure the part in the new HBO Harry Potter TV series<\/a>. \u201cBefore I was cast as Hagrid, my partner suggested trying to manifest it. So last Christmas, I watched all the films back to back on the Sky Harry Potter channel, while writing out the word \u2018Hagrid\u2019 7,000 times.\u201d So he really is a wizard? Pity he didn\u2019t pick a different word or phrase like \u201ctrans rights.\u201d When asked by the Observer<\/a> in June of last year about Rowling\u2019s transphobic statements, he said \u201cShe\u2019s allowed her opinion and I\u2019m allowed mine, they just don\u2019t align in any way, shape or form.\u201d When asked if he was worried the controversy would overshadow the show, he said \u201cMaybe it shouldn\u2019t blow over? We shouldn\u2019t just hope it will go away, because it makes it easier. Maybe we should educate ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n Coincidentally, just as Frost is talking about his magic powers, HBO CEO Casey Bloys narrowed down the release window for the controversial new show. \u201cWe\u2019ve been saying 2027,\u201d told Deadline<\/a>. \u201cI would say, to narrow it down to some extent, early 2027. And now you\u2019re going to ask, does that mean January, February, March, April, that we\u2019re not ready to say. I\u2019ll say early 2027.\u201d<\/p>\n
