Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has laid bare the details of her life in a candid new memoir, Head & Heart, which has been published by Mirror Books<\/p>\n

Actress Helen Flanagan<\/a> has revealed her ‘shock’ over Andrew Tate<\/a> sliding into her DMs with a bold message.<\/p>\n

The former Coronation Street<\/a> star, 35, made the claims in her new memoir Head & Heart, and revealed she got a message from him after the pair matched on dating app Hinge.<\/p>\n

Helen, who has three children with her ex finac\u00e9 Scott Sinclair, revealed the interaction happened after their 2022 split. Speaking about her experience on the dating app, she admitted “not every interaction was welcome” before going into detail over her encounter with misogynist online personality Andrew Tate, 39.<\/p>\n

In a extract from her book, she claims: “The controversial influencer and male supremacist Andrew Tate slid into my DMs with a message saying \u2018Sons?\u2019 alongside a heart emoji.” Recalling her reaction Helen continues: “I was shocked but then I laughed. And before you ask, no of course I didn\u2019t reply!”<\/p>\n

However, Tate has refuted the claims as a spokesperson told The Sun: “Andrew denies the claims, which are entirely untrue.<\/p>\n

“Unfortunately, it has become a pattern for lesser known public figures to invoke his name at moments of heightened publicity, such as when promoting a new project, film, TV show or forthcoming book.”<\/p>\n

Helen’s message from Tate isn’t the only celebrity encounter she spilled on in her new book. As she also spilled on her relationship with ex TOWIE star James Argent<\/a>, who last year admitted attacking his ex-girlfriend in Spain.<\/p>\n

The actress took part in a reality show called Celebrity Super Spa alongside Arg, 38, and a string of other stars including celebrity chefs Rusty Lee and John Burton-Race, Shameless actor Jody Latham, and Most Haunted’s Yvette Fielding. The show, which aired in 2013, focused on the celebrities working in a real-life spa in Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Recalling forming a bond with Arg, Helen revealed: “I became firm friends with James ‘Arg’ Argent from The Only Way is Essex<\/a> and we would spend all our time together. I know the producers were hoping for a show romance to develop and they’d try to push me towards him, dropping hints like, ‘Ah, you and Arg are so cute together…’ But I was too mixed up over Scott and I didn’t even know if I actually fancied Arg although I did like him a lot.”<\/p>\n

She continued: “He definitely wasn’t my usual type. I usually went for sporty guys who were into their health and fitness whereas Arg would eat four Greggs<\/a> sausage rolls for breakfast. I think he was probably more smitten with me than I was with him, but there was a fleeting spark between us that felt… odd.”<\/p>\n

“We were in my hotel room, lounging on the bed while he caressed my back \u2013 it could have escalated then, but something held me back. And when that moment slipped away, it felt like it was over. I hadn’t moved on from Scott so using Arg as a rebound would have been a mistake,” she recalled.<\/p>\n
