{"id":267909,"date":"2026-02-01T00:11:23","date_gmt":"2026-02-01T00:11:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/267909\/"},"modified":"2026-02-01T00:11:23","modified_gmt":"2026-02-01T00:11:23","slug":"name-that-designer-print-magazine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/267909\/","title":{"rendered":"Name That Designer \u2013 PRINT Magazine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\">In the 1940s and \u2019early 50s, a popular radio show was \u201cName That Tune.\u201d A live band would play a few bars from a contemporary song, and the participant would have a brief few seconds to \u201cNAME THAT TUNE.\u201d The show has now returned to television on FOX with a similar concept yet brand-new format.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Today we\u2019ll try a new variant called \u201cName That Designer.\u201d The unsigned piece below was created by a well-known designer in the late 1940s using a Midcentury Modern idiom for the pharmaceutical company Smith Kine &amp; French. Do you know who that designer was?
