The Masked Singer UK has unveiled its latest elimination, with a British TV icon being unmasked during Saturday’s episode. With a variety of clues and several wild guesses, did you manage to deduce who it was? <\/p>\n

The latest episode of the ITV reality series<\/a> saw Olly Murs join the panel of Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Maya Jama and Jonathan Ross, with Joel Dommett presiding over the action as always.<\/p>\n

After all the songs were completed, it was Red Panda who was the least popular, with their rendition of Black Eyed Peas’ ‘I Gotta Feeling’ not doing enough to save them from the axe as they were eliminated. <\/p>\n

After much waiting, it was revealed that Harry Hill was the figure underneath the mask, with the comedian saying following his exit: “It is fun. The team are lovely. They really look after us. <\/p>\n

“I didn\u2019t have a plan. They said go for a cute outfit. I had a few to choose from. They said go for a cuddly one. Because my voice is quite well known [from] You\u2019ve Been Framed, I think a lot of people recognise my voice more than me. <\/p>\n

“I love to sing but people don\u2019t necessarily like to hear me sing… I always think all comedians want to be singers and all singers want to be comedians. We\u2019ve got the confidence without necessarily the equipment.”<\/p>\n

Hill, who has also fronted TV Burp, continued: “You have to spend a bit of time learning the words but because you\u2019re in the outfit, you don\u2019t have to spend time thinking about a fancy dance routine or what faces you\u2019re going to pull because it\u2019s all inside.”<\/p>\n

“I would have told them [my children] but my wife said ‘no, don\u2019t tell them’… I came back from filming one day and one of them was at home, she said \u2018where\u2019s Dad been\u2019 and my wife said he\u2019s been doing a pilot with Alan Carr.”<\/p>\n

The comedian became the seventh act to be eliminated from the season, with previous unmasked stars including Alex Jones<\/a>, Professor Green<\/a>, John Lydon<\/a>, Marcella Detroit<\/a>, Kate Nash and Anton Du Beke<\/a>. <\/p>\n
