Noah Reid<\/a> has become the latest Schitt\u2019s Creek<\/a> star to post a public tribute to Catherine O\u2019Hara, who passed away on January 30 at the age of 71.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old actor and musician took to Instagram<\/a> on Saturday (January 31) to share a touching message honoring Catherine\u2018s memory. He played Patrick on the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m at a total loss. We all are, clearly. Meeting Catherine was surreal, like meeting a painting or a hologram or a saint,\u201d he wrote. \u201cWorking with Catherine was an elevation, an understanding that there was collaboration in competition, that there were secret ways of knowing and doing that she was willing to share, and that there was humour and magic in everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

He call knowing her \u201ca gift I still can\u2019t believe I got to receive,\u201d and said she was the \u201ccoolest, kindest, realest, funniest, most genuine. The best of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

An electrical current of creativity I haven\u2019t seen before or since. My heart goes out to Bo<\/a> and their boys, and to the wonderful O\u2019Hara clan, and to my Schitt\u2019s Creek Family of so many years. How lucky we all were.
