Michael Carrick has become just the third Manchester United<\/a> manager to win all three of his first Premier League<\/a> games of a managerial spell following a last-gasp win over Fulham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fulham pegged United back to 2-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday before Benjamin Sesko<\/a> scored a winner in stoppage time, sending the home fans into pandemonium.<\/p>\n

It means Carrick, technically in his second stint in interim charge, has a 100% record having previously beaten title challengers Manchester City<\/a> and Arsenal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are the only other United managers to have won their first three games in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Carrick’s predecessor Ruben Amorim, meanwhile, only managed to win three games in a row once during his 13 months in charge, doing so against Sunderland<\/a>, Liverpool<\/a> and Brighton last October.<\/p>\n

United have gone fourth in the table and are unbeaten in seven league games, the longest streak in the PL.<\/p>\n

“I was pretty calm all the way through,” Carrick said afterwards. “I was disappointed with the second goal, but I knew there was eight minutes to go and still positive we would find a moment.<\/p>\n

“It is hard to hold your emotions together when a goal like that goes in, but I did feel we would have a moment.<\/p>\n

“The excitement is part of this club, but it is not always the easiest way. We would like to win games more easily.”<\/p>\n
