LONDON – International Series Rankings champion Scott Vincent<\/a> and runner-up Yosuke Asaji<\/a> will put their standout 2025 season to the test this week at ROSHN Group LIV Golf Riyadh<\/a>, both pointing to the Asian Tour\u2019s elevated group of events as the platform which sharpened their games and created the pathway to the highest level.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This week marks Vincent\u2019s return to the LIV Golf League for his first full season back, having previously competed with the Iron Heads GC in 2024, now Korean Golf Club<\/a>. After topping the 2025 Rankings and earning his LIV Golf card back, the two-time International Series champion credited the events\u2019 competitive depth and global venues with preparing him for career-defining moments.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Vincent and Asaji will play as wild cards on LIV Golf in 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlaying four rounds definitely helps, especially now that the format has changed,\u201d said Vincent. \u201cLast year gave me perspective. The courses in Asia are phenomenal, the people are amazing, and the competition is very high. For me, enjoying wherever I\u2019m playing is key, it helps me grow not just as a golfer, but as a person.\u201d<\/p>\n

After taking a short break at the end of the season, the 33-year-old resumed preparations early in January from his Florida base, keeping his focus simple as he heads into Riyadh.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe theme has been pretty straightforward, keep working, keep improving and be as ready as possible,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Despite his LIV Golf commitments, the Zimbabwean is eager to return to The International Series when his schedule allows, with Morocco in June already circled following the release of the 2026 calendar last week.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll the events are great, but getting back to Morocco, where I have such fond memories and captured a win, and playing on African soil again is something I\u2019m really excited about.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Joining him in Riyadh is Rankings runner-up and Singapore Open champion Yosuke Asaji<\/a>, who will make his LIV Golf debut after a season-defining victory that propelled him onto the global stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been training hard and making some adjustments to my clubs,\u201d said Asaji. \u201cI\u2019m nervous, but in a good way, and really excited to be joining LIV.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old also credits his International Series win in Singapore for giving him the confidence to believe he belongs at the highest level.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter that win, I felt I could perform well on LIV while continuing to learn and prepare,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Japanese star is already looking ahead to returning to The International Series this season, particularly for International Series Japan which opens the new schedule from 2-5 April.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt means a lot to have the event in Japan. I\u2019m really grateful and very much looking forward to playing an International Series event at home,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Asaji also relishes the chance to test himself against new faces on the LIV Golf circuit.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything has been new, which has been a very fresh experience,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve played with Scott before and really respect his game. I\u2019m excited to meet the other players and compete.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
