But the spirit is always willing.<\/p>\n With Jalen Green ailing, Brooks is the Suns\u2019 secondary creator, providing a hammer to complement the stylish maneuvering of Devin Booker and slick decisions of Collin Gillespie.<\/p>\n He\u2019s averaging a higher EFG than Booker \u2014 51.8 to 50.3 \u2014 while also continuing to bring intensity to the NBA\u2019s sixth-best defense (112.0 defensive rating).<\/p>\n Brooks is physical, stocky, and capable of taking any shot. His bag is deeper than you\u2019d think \u2014 let him get into a groove, and he can burn you.<\/p>\n When Brooks puts it all together, he\u2019s a two-way force, building on his fiery competitiveness and underrated skills to elevate the Suns.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was special just to see him competing on both ends, making plays, and making the right read,\u201d teammate Royce O\u2019Neale said after Brooks dropped 40<\/a>.<\/p>\n Will he keep it rocking against the Trail Blazers and All-Star wing Deni Avdija tonight?
