{"id":273844,"date":"2026-02-04T16:36:12","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T16:36:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/273844\/"},"modified":"2026-02-04T16:36:12","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T16:36:12","slug":"report-emirates-expected-to-resume-tel-aviv-flights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/273844\/","title":{"rendered":"Report: Emirates expected to resume Tel Aviv flights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Emirates is expected to resume flights to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/tags\/tel-aviv\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tel Aviv<\/a>, ending a two-year hiatus prompted by the 2023-2025 Israel-Hamas War, Bloomberg reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Israeli public broadcaster KAN News reported in November that the airline planned to resume flights to Israel in early 2026. This report came shortly after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/politics-and-diplomacy\/article-885245\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Transportation Minister Miri Regev<\/a> visited Dubai and met with senior Emirates officials.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">During this meeting, the officials expressed their willingness to resume operations between Israel and the UAE in the first quarter of 2026, the report added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The airline has yet to make any announcements indicating if or when it will resume service to Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">\u201c[Dubai] will offer a gateway for visitors to link with the world,\u201d Emirates COO Adel Ahmad Al Redha stated at the time. \u201cTel Aviv represents an important milestone as we expand our services in this region. There is already a strong interest in service from Tel Aviv. I wouldn\u2019t be surprised to see a second flight from Tel Aviv in the next few months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Separately, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is resuming flights to Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/middle-east\/article-885201\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> it said late on Saturday<\/a>, after previously announcing it would avoid flying over large parts of the Middle East due to rising regional tensions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">&#8220;Based on the current security situation and operational feasibility, we have decided to resume our flights to Tel Aviv on February 2 and 3 with an adjusted schedule.
