Sabrina Carpenter, ‘Manchild,’ (Island Records)<\/p>\n
Ahead of the Grammys, W magazine rounded up<\/a> a bunch of acclaimed actors\u00a0to give their takes on Sabrina Carpenter’s nominated single, “Manchild,” and now Sabrina is reacting to it.<\/p>\n In the video, George Clooney, Emma Stone, Jodi Foster,\u00a0Greta Lee, Amanda Seyfried, Alexander Skarsg\u00e5rd, Kate Hudson, Duane Johnson, Elle Fanning, Tessa Thompson, Rose Byrne, Sydney Sweeney and more are given the lyrics to the song and asked to either sing or recite them.<\/p>\n While George<\/a>\u00a0and Jodie<\/a>\u00a0simply speak the lyrics \u2014Jodie because she admits she doesn’t know the song \u2014 others attempt to sing. Some have great success hitting the high note in the chorus, like Elle<\/a>, Tessa<\/a>\u00a0and Amanda<\/a>. Alexander and Duane, not so much.<\/p>\n Mia Goth\u00a0was the most enthusiastic, though. She said<\/a>, “I saw Sabrina Carpenter and I am obsessed. I felt like I was\u00a06 years old again. … Ever since, I’m just in love.”<\/p>\n Sabrina reposted<\/a> the video on her Instagram Story and wrote, “I’m floored and dazzled.”<\/p>\n In other Sabrina news, she appears in The Muppet Show special, which is now streaming on Disney+ and airing Wednesday night on ABC.\u00a0Speaking to E!,<\/a> Miss Piggy scoffed at the idea that she was “intimidated” by the pop star.<\/p>\n “If anything, I think you should ask Sabrina if she was intimidated by\u00a0moi,\u201d said Piggy. “Well, actually, don’t ask her that, though. Just take my word for it. She was very intimidated.\u201d<\/p>\n In the actual show, Sabrina told Piggy, “You\u2019re my idol.
