\n\tNearly three decades later, Public Enemy<\/a> has transformed its \u201cHe Got Game\u201d<\/a> soundtrack staple into a women\u2019s empowerment anthem.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShe Got Game\u201d arrived Wednesday (Feb. 4) with a moving opening from feminist leader Gloria Steinem\u2019s Address to the Women of America\u00a0speech.<\/p>\n

\n\tWomen power all aspects of the track with features from hooper-turned-rapper Flau\u2019Jae,<\/a>\u00a0Retina MC, Cindy Blackman Santana\u00a0on the drums, Olympic medalist\u00a0Elizabeth Beisel\u00a0handling the strings and\u00a0Grace Bowers jamming on the guitar.<\/p>\n

\n\tProceeds from the girl power track will benefit the Women\u2019s Sports Foundation and Black Music Action Coalition\u2019s Female Fund.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe process for flipping \u201cHe Got Game\u201d into the female perspective came when Flavor Flav<\/a> came on board as a sponsor for the U.S. Women\u2019s Olympic Water Polo Team<\/a> in 2024. <\/p>\n

\n\tHe has continued to be outspoken in his support of Team USA\u2019s women heading into the 2026 Winter Olympics, which kicks off in Northern Italy with the Opening Ceremony set for Friday (Feb. 6). <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYeah boy, she in a league of her own\/ three-point clutch, she in a zone\/ I got the clocks so I got the time, she got game, so she gets to shine\/ In a world full of queens, be a king,\u201d Flav raps. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Public Enemy rapper is bringing his clocks to Milan, where he\u2019ll serve as the hype man for the women of Team USA Bobsled and Skeleton<\/a>. \u201cThe partnership is a blessing. It\u2019s cooler than\u00a0Cool Runnings,\u201d Flav said in reference to the 1993 sports comedy in October. \u201cIt\u2019s Coolest Runnings.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDirected by Spike Lee, <\/a>He Got Game arrived in April 1998, starring Denzel Washington. An accompanying soundtrack album from Public Enemy was released alongside the movie by Def Jam, which peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard 200.<\/a> <\/p>\n
