\n\tAlthough Season 4 of The White Lotus<\/a> is headed to the south of France, creator Mike White<\/a> has to survive Fiji first.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 3x Emmy winner recently gave an update on the status of his HBO anthology series as he returned to CBS for Survivor<\/a> 50, noting that he hasn\u2019t begun writing the script for the fourth season.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNo, so after we play the game, I\u2019m gonna start scouting for Season 4, so I don\u2019t even know where it\u2019s shooting,\u201d White told TVLine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the continued success of last year\u2019s Thailand-set Season 3, White noted that he almost wasn\u2019t available to return to the reality competition series. \u201cWeirdly, if it had happened in any other time in the last five years, I just would not have been available. But when they told me the dates, I was like, \u2018I could actually do that,’\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI love my show, obviously, and I\u2019m excited to go back to it, but it\u2019s nice to think about something else, do something different, get out of my head, my little world,\u201d added White. \u201cSurvivor 50<\/a> is such a huge event for so many people I know who are involved in the show, who were in the show, and also for me. So I just felt like this was a party invite that was pretty exclusive and I was like, \u2018I can\u2019t pass this up.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA friend of host Jeff Probst, White\u2019s current stint on the CBS series comes after he competed on Survivor: David vs. Goliath in 2018, coming in as the runner-up to winner Nick Wilson. He and his dad Mel have also competed on CBS\u2019s The Amazing Race twice.<\/p>\n
