The flurry of moves certainly made an impact on the fantasy basketball landscape. Here are six players to consider adding who are still available in the majority of Yahoo leagues and benefited from moves made at the deadline.

Santi Aldama, Memphis Grizzlies (42% rostered)

The Grizzlies didn’t trade Ja Morant, but they did swing a big deal by sending Jaren Jackson Jr.
to the Jazz. He was one of their leading scorers, averaging 19.2 points over 31 minutes per
game. The Grizzlies didn’t receive any centers of note in the trade, putting them in a tough spot
down the stretch. Zach Edey (ankle) and Brandon Clarke (calf) remain out, and with the team
possibly getting ready to tank down the stretch, there is a chance that we don’t see them on the
floor much until next season.

Aldama recently missed four games with a knee injury but returned to play 24 minutes
Wednesday against the Kings. Despite the limited workload, he recorded 12 points, six
rebounds, two blocks and two 3-pointers. He has been ruled out for Friday’s game against
the Trail Blazers, but that’s more likely because it’s the first game of a back-to-back set, and the Grizzlies don’t want him to play on consecutive days yet. As he becomes further removed from
the injury, he has a clear path to 30 minutes a night down the stretch.

Saddiq Bey, New Orleans Pelicans (42% rostered)

The Pelicans have one of the worst records in the NBA, but they didn’t sell at the deadline. The one move they made was shipping Jose Alvarado off to the Knicks. They received Dalen Terry
in the trade, who isn’t likely to see much action moving forward. Zion Williamson, Trey Murphy
III and Jordan Poole all remain with the team.

Bey has been valuable during his first season in New Orleans, averaging 16.4 points, 5.8
rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 3-pointers. There was a chance that he could have been
moved to a contending team, but that never came to fruition. The Pelicans aren’t exactly
winning games with him on the floor, so with his role likely secure for the remainder of the
season, he can provide significant fantasy value.

Kelly Oubre Jr., Philadelphia 76ers (34% rostered)

The 76ers made a minor move at the deadline, shipping Jared McCain off to the Thunder in a
deal that landed them draft picks. Their depth chart was also weakened by the suspension of
Paul George, who will be sidelined for 25 games. Over the last four games since George was
suspended, Oubre averaged 14.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.5 3-
pointers.

After shooting just 29.3% on his 3-point attempts last season, Oubre has made 36.9% of his
shots from behind the arc this year. He is on pace to average at least 1.8 3-pointers for the
fourth time over the last seven seasons. Since George won’t be back anytime soon, Oubre
remains an appealing fantasy option.

Isaiah Collier, Utah Jazz (32% rostered)

The addition of Jackson isn’t likely to change the Jazz’s tanking plans for this season. They are
still 7.5 games back of the final Play-In spot in the West and would need to jump three teams
just to get it. The more likely scenario is that they continue to rest their top players frequently in
an attempt to improve their lottery odds. They could then add that high selection to Jackson,
Lauri Markkanen, Walker Kessler and Keyonte George to form a dangerous team next season.

Collier averages 24 minutes for the season, but he has averaged 30 minutes over his last 12
games. During that stretch, he provided 13.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.5 steals a
game. He also shot 49.6% from the field. For fantasy managers who need assists, Collier
should be considered as a priority add off the waiver wire.

Jalen Smith, Chicago Bulls (28% rostered)

The Bulls made several trades at the deadline, moving on from Nikola Vučević, Coby White,
Ayo Dosunmu and Kevin Huerter. In terms of which trade impacts Smith the most, it was Vučević being sent to the Celtics. The Bulls did add some depth and size in Guerschon Yabusele and Nick Richards, but neither player figures to be in their long-term plans.

Smith has already been playing well down the stretch. Over his last 19 games, he has averaged
12.1 points, 8.6 rebounds, 0.9 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers. He recently dealt with a calf injury
that forced him to miss two games, and the Bulls are bringing him back slowly. However, once
we get past the All-Star break, he should be ready for a hefty workload down the stretch. He
won’t be available in this many leagues for much longer.

Jarace Walker, Indiana Pacers (19% rostered)

The Pacers made a significant move in the final hours of the deadline, acquiring Ivica Zubac
from the Pacers. They had a gaping hole at center following the departure of Myles Turner last
offseason, so Zubac should help them return to being an Eastern Conference contender with a
healthy Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) next season. However, his addition likely doesn’t change
their plans for the remainder of this season. Armed with one of the worst records in the NBA, the Pacers will likely give plenty of rest days to their key players.

As the Pacers look to improve their lottery odds, Walker has seen his role increase lately. Over
the last 13 games, he has averaged 14.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.1
3-pointers. Not only did he log 26 minutes a night during that stretch, but he started five of
the last six games. The Pacers don’t have a ton of intriguing young players coming off their
bench, so with Walker being one of their lone bright spots with upside, he could continue to fill a
significant role.

The 76ers’ Kelly Oubre Jr. has averaged 14.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals over his…

[9
85,46,143131,105
0":"post-277571","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-sports","8":"tag-il","9":"tag-israel","10":"tag-nba-fantasy-week-16-waiver-wire-adds","11":"tag-sports
["GET
