Milo Ventimiglia<\/a>\u2014who shares daughter Ke\u2019ala Coral Ventimiglia<\/a>, 12 months, with pregnant wife Jarah Mariano\u2014pulled back the curtain on the realities of being a new parent, noting that people probably think he and Jarah “must be crazy” for having two kids in such close succession<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Got a beautiful daughter, she\u2019s wonderful,” the This Is Us alum said on the Feb. 5 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a>. “What day is it? Thursday? Wonderful. It\u2019s the same as Wednesday or Tuesday, yeah. They\u2019re all the same. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday…”<\/p>\n

He went on to share that Ke’ala is “actually doing great” and “sleeping through the night” already.<\/p>\n

“She loves to wake up at 5:40 in the morning and talk to herself, kinda jabber on and whatnot,” Milo added. “My wife and I are lying in bed like, \u2018Does she have her [pacifier]?\u2019 \u2018I don\u2019t know. I can\u2019t tell from the monitor.\u2019 \u2018Did she poop herself?\u2019 \u2018I don\u2019t know. I can\u2019t tell from the monitor.'”<\/p>\n

“And then you\u2019re kind of like, after a certain period of time, ‘You know this,'” he continued. “You walk in there, you\u2019re like, well, she didn\u2019t poop herself, and she\u2019s got her [pacifier], so the world\u2019s good.”<\/p>\n

The 48-year-old admitted that he expected to be a “wonder-parent” but had to reset his expectations after the “hard and wonderful” experience of losing their Malibu home in the California wildfires right before becoming parents for the first time.<\/p>\n

“I was striving to,” he reflected. “I\u2019m like, \u2018Cool, man. I\u2019m going to be the healthiest. We\u2019re going to feed this baby organic. We\u2019re going to buy blenders, do all this stuff. We\u2019re going to go argue with some dude named Kale about blueberries at the farmers\u2019 market.\u2019 Then, after a while, you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh, man, we had quite a year.\u2019”<\/p>\n

The Gilmore Girls alum made sure to shout out his wife for how she’s handled such a difficult last 12 months.<\/p>\n

“Listen, my wife is the most unbelievable,” he gushed. “Jarah, if you\u2019re watching, you are the most unbelievable human being, creature, species of everything. She handles everything great.”<\/p>\n
