On Thursday, 23 January \/ 5 February 2026, His Beatitude, our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III, received the following visitors:<\/p>\n
His Eminence Metropolitan Epiphanios of Mantineia, accompanied by a group of approximately eighty pilgrims.<\/p>\n
He also received His Eminence Metropolitan Nikodimos of Zadar, Serbia, accompanied by a group of forty pilgrims.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, His Beatitude received twenty Russian pilgrims together with two Russian clerics, a group of forty-five pilgrims from Ukraine, a group of forty pilgrims from Russia, and a group of forty pilgrims from Romania.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, His Beatitude visited the Patriarchal School on Mount Zion. There, in the presence of the President of the School Board, His Eminence Archbishop Isidoros of Hierapolis, the Consul General of Greece in Jerusalem, Mr Dimitrios Angelosopoulos, the School Director, Monk Vasileios, the teaching staff, and the students of the Patriarchal School, His Beatitude blessed the Vasilopita.<\/p>\n
He then extended his wishes to the students for a New Year rich in spiritual and academic fruits. He further expressed the hope that their will and disposition might accord with the expectations of the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre, so that they may one day be admitted into it.<\/p>\n
One of the students of the School was the fortunate recipient of the coin of the Vasilopita.<\/p>\n
