Ben Miller’s crime drama Professor T has landed a new streaming home in the UK. The British series<\/a> centres around Jasper Tempest, a Criminology professor at Cambridge University who has obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). <\/p>\n

“He is obsessed with cleanliness, structure and order but his genius for solving crimes means he is constantly having to get his hands dirty, helping the police crack their most difficult cases,” reads the synopsis.
<\/a><\/p>\n

Death in Paradise star Miller portrays the titular character, with Emma Naomi, Barney White, Frances de la Tour, Zo\u00eb Wanamaker, Sunetra Sarker and Juliet Aubrey all appearing in supporting roles.<\/p>\n

Adapted from the Belgian series of the same name, the crime drama premiered on ITV in 2021 before follow-ups in 2022 and 2024. While these three seasons are streaming on ITVX<\/a>, the first season has landed a new home on Disney+<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n

The show’s<\/a> highly-anticipated fourth season will reportedly air later this year following a slight delay, though we don’t have an exact release date yet. Meanwhile, a fifth instalment was also confirmed to be in the works<\/a>. <\/p>\n

“Last week we wrapped Season 5 of Professor T!” Miller announced<\/a> on Instagram<\/a> in August, alongside some behind-the-scenes pictures. “Another few months spent filming with the most hardworking crew and cast who give their all to this show. It’s always a pleasure.”<\/p>\n

The series has proven to be popular with viewers over the years, with IMDb<\/a> currently reporting an impressive average user rating of 7.4 out of 10 from 8900 logs. In the consensus, Miller’s performance was reserved for praise.<\/p>\n

“Ben Miller is marvellous, he really brings The Professor to life, he’s quirky, he’s smart, and he’s committed to getting the truth,” noted one fan<\/a>, while another wrote<\/a>: “Ben Miller is wonderfully bonkers and plays it just right. Highly entertaining.” <\/p>\n
