Seven years after Quentin Tarantino\u2019s \u201cOnce Upon a Time\u2026in Hollywood,\u201d Brad Pitt is once again playing Rick Dalton\u2019s charming yet lethal stuntman in \u201cThe Adventures of Cliff Booth,\u201d which got its first teaser from Netflix during Super Bowl LX. <\/p>\n

Fans of \u201cOUATIH\u201d will remember the comically violent ending in which an inebriated Cliff Booth slays the members of Charles Manson\u2019s cult who would have killed the actress Sharon Tate. In the new teaser, Cliff is asked whether those events are true. <\/p>\n

\u201cSomething like that,\u201d he says. \u201cI don\u2019t possess many talents, but I know better than to get in the way of a good story.\u201d <\/p>\n

Tarantino returns as writer-producer for the spinoff, with fellow legendary filmmaker David Fincher taking over as director. Just like in \u201cOnce Upon a Time\u2026In Hollywood,\u201d viewers will get a taste of a bygone era of Los Angeles with a mostly faithful recreation of the city in the 1970s. <\/p>\n

We say \u201cmostly\u201d because in one notable shot from the teaser, we see a convertible parked in front of the fictitious fast food chain Big Kahuna Burger, a chain made famous in Tarantino\u2019s legendary film \u201cPulp Fiction.\u201d A fun easter egg, or something more? We\u2019ll have to see. <\/p>\n

Scott Caan,\u00a0Elizabeth Debicki,\u00a0Yahya Abdul-Mateen II,\u00a0Carla Gugino,\u00a0and Holt McCallany also star in the film. Netflix has not announced a release date for \u201cThe Adventures of Cliff Booth,\u201d but the film is expected to release later this year. <\/p>\n
