Niall Horan is teaming up with rising star Myles Smith on the newly released single “Drive Safe.” The track marks the first time the two artists have officially joined forces.

Co-written by Horan and Smith, “Drive Safe” feels like the result of a friendship that’s grown well beyond the studio. Niall’s signature melodic warmth weaves seamlessly through Smith’s emotionally sharp songwriting, creating a song that feels personal, unforced and quietly powerful. Rather than chasing big drama, the track leans into sincerity, two artists meeting in the middle to tell a story that matters to them.

At its core, “Drive Safe” reflects a simple but resonant idea: life doesn’t come with a map, but having the right people beside you makes the uncertainty easier to handle.

The song leans into that philosophy with an uplifting, guitar-led sound that feels both grounding and hopeful. It’s reflective without being heavy, reassuring without being naïve.

For Horan, the collaboration highlights what fans have long loved about his artistry, an intuitive feel for melody and an ability to elevate emotional storytelling without overpowering it. His presence brings a sense of openness and calm to the track, adding a comforting layer that underscores the song’s message of connection and trust.

The release also lands at a high point for Smith, whose global profile has surged over the past year thanks to sold-out headline tours across multiple continents, a standout Glastonbury appearance, and major industry recognition, including an Ivor Novello Award and Rolling Stone UK’s Breakthrough accolade. This summer, he’ll also be hitting the road as main support for Ed Sheeran’s US tour.

With “Drive Safe,” Horan and Smith deliver a collaboration that feels less like a strategic pairing and more like a shared moment — one rooted in friendship, mutual respect and a belief in honest songwriting.

Niall Horan is teaming up with rising star Myles Smith on the newly released single “Drive Safe.” The…

[28
145154,146,85,46,409,145153,145152
post-282772","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-music","tag-emotional-pop-songwriting","tag-entertainment","tag-il","tag-israel","tag-music","tag-myles-smith-collaboration","tag-niall-horan-drive-safe
["GET
