<\/p>\nActor Tusshar Kapoor recently shared his views on real estate, investments and lifestyle choices during a rapid-fire interaction with Edstate Learning and The Green Cottage founder Mayank Agarwal at the launch of Agarwal\u2019s new brand, The House of Jets. The candid session offered insight into how Kapoor currently views property development alongside his long-standing career in Bollywood.<\/p>\n

Tusshar Kapoor picks real estate over Bollywood in rapid-fire at The House of Jets launch<\/p>\n
When asked to choose between Bollywood and real estate, Kapoor made his preference clear. \u201cReal estate,\u201d he said without hesitation. His confidence extended to geography as well, as he weighed in on where investors might see stronger returns. Comparing Mumbai and Pune, Kapoor stated, \u201cPune will give more growth. I’m thinking that, yeah, right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kapoor consistently leaned towards property over other investment avenues during the interaction. Choosing real estate over the stock market, he again responded, \u201cReal estate.\u201d On the question of what is more enjoyable to build, he said, \u201cAffordable housing is more fun to build,\u201d indicating an interest in projects beyond luxury developments.<\/p>\n
Speaking from an investor\u2019s perspective, Kapoor revealed his preference for completed properties. Asked whether he would choose under-construction homes or ready-to-move-in homes, he replied, \u201cReady to move in homes.\u201d This practical approach was further reflected when he was asked to choose between a Bollywood acting set and a real estate construction site. \u201cAt this point, real estate construction site,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
However, cinema still holds its place in his life. When given a choice between reading a film script or reviewing real estate agreements, Kapoor admitted, \u201cReading a film script. Agreements are very boring.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kapoor also spoke about working in real estate alongside his family, describing the experience simply as one where \u201cthere’s always a surprise.\u201d On lifestyle preferences, he shared that he is \u201calways biassed towards sea facing apartments,\u201d though he added that \u201ca luxury villa in the hills sounds very, very exotic and sounds like the Swiss Alps.\u201d<\/p>\n
Discussing everyday comforts, Kapoor named \u201cthe gym\u201d as his favourite building amenity, while revealing a quieter personal routine at home. \u201cMy evening sofa where I sit and read the papers and have my coffee,\u201d he said, when asked about his favourite spot in his house.<\/p>\n
Looking at the future of Indian real estate, Kapoor did not single out one city. Instead, he said, \u201cI think all these smart, new smart cities coming up\u201d would see growth. Drawing from his years in the film industry, he concluded the interaction by sharing one principle he applies across professions: \u201cHard work always pays off.\u201d<\/p>\n
