At the annual conference of the Association of Education Department Managers in Local Authorities in Eilat, she said: &#8220;The Treasury doesn&#8217;t tell me &#8216;come let&#8217;s sit down, I&#8217;m in favor of shortening summer vacation,&#8217; they&#8217;re getting parents worked up and they&#8217;re getting themselves worked up. I&#8217;m saying unequivocally that shortening the vacation will not happen.&#8221; The pilot is expected to begin in the coming weeks, canceling classes in kindergartens and elementary schools on Fridays.
