It was a busy day yesterday for Paloma Elsesser<\/a>, who followed a turn on the runway with a front row seat at Tory Burch\u2019s fall 2026<\/a> show.<\/p>\n

A fashion week veteran, Elsesser\u2019s routine is down to a science. \u201cI always like to get a massage at home once or twice a week during shows,\u201d she says. \u201cIt\u2019s a really nice way to treat myself and prioritize rest and relaxation during a chaotic week.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Elsesser, there\u2019s a difference between preparing for a show as a model versus as an attendee. \u201cSometimes I practice my pose so I can stick it during the photo call,\u201d she tells Vogue. \u201cBut, generally, I just listen to calm music and remember to show up as Paloma the human, not always Paloma the model.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the model, sitting front row presents a chance to see friends from across the industry\u2014and to cheer on her peers from the best seat in the house. \u201cOver the years I\u2019ve made relationships with lots of editors, and it\u2019s always lovely to interact with them in a different way,\u201d she says. \u201cI love to see my besties walk too. I always whisper to Alex Consani, \u2018Go best friend!\u2019 during the finale. Also, love seeing the clothes move!\u201d<\/p>\n

As for her own look for the evening, Elsesser chose a brown skirt suit with an ultra-cinched trench coat. \u201cThe skirt is sheer, chic, feminine. I felt sharp and sophisticated,\u201d she says. And you\u2019d better believe she\u2019s already plotting her look for next season. \u201cMy favorite looks were those with the dangling fish necklaces,\u201d she says. \u201cI\u2019m a huge fan of fish references; they adorn my home in many different ways. I got really excited seeing that reference on the runway.\u201d<\/p>\n
