The second teaser trailer for Obsession warns you to be careful who you wish for, as the consequences could be deadly.<\/p>\n

Written and directed by Curry Barker (Milk & Serial), the buzzy horror film opens in theaters May 15 via Focus Features.<\/p>\n

In the movie, after breaking the mysterious One Wish Willow to win his crush\u2019s heart, a hopeless romantic finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.<\/p>\n

Michael Johnston (\u201cTeen Wolf\u201d), Inde Navarrette (\u201cSuperman & Lois\u201d), Cooper Tomlinson (Milk & Serial), Megan Lawless (\u201cThe Girl from Plainville\u201d), and Andy Richter (\u201cConan\u201d) star.<\/p>\n

James Harris of Teashop Productions, Haley Nicole Johnson of Under the Shell, and Christian Mercuri & Roman Viaris of Capstone Pictures produce. Executive producers include Blumhouse\u2019s Jason Blum, Teashop\u2019s Leonora Darby & Mark Lane and Capstone\u2019s David Haring & Ruzanna Kegeyan.<\/p>\n

Obsession premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, followed by screenings at Fantastic Fest and Sitges, where it won the coveted People\u2019s Choice Award.<\/p>\n

Meagan Navarro wrote in her review<\/a> out of TIFF, \u201cObsession takes you on a wild ride. While Monkey\u2019s Paw scenarios often yield predictable outcomes, and this outcome is practically telegraphed from the start, Barker manages to surprise with the journey itself. And it\u2019s one insane journey paved with blood-soaked violence and no shortage of nightmare fuel.\u201d<\/p>\n
