Lucas di Grassi <\/a>will be impacted by a three-place grid drop in today’s 2026 Jeddah E-Prix, Round 4 of the 2025\/26 World Championship, after being found to have not followed the FIA Race Director’s instructions.<\/p>\n

The offence, which was because “the driver failed to keep to the right of the bollard and come to a complete wheel stop after he left the track at Turn 7, as prescribed in Article 7.8 of the Drivers Briefing Notes”,\u00a0would normally result in a five-second time-penalty. However, as it was awarded after the race, it was converted into a three-place grid drop for the next race.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As well as the penalty, the Lola Yamaha ABT<\/a> driver gets another penalty point, which takes his total up to eight for the last 12 months.\u00a0<\/p>\n
