\n\tCardi B<\/a>\u2019s \u201cPretty & Petty\u201d is one of the most talked about tracks on her new album Am I The Drama?<\/a> On the three-minute track, Cardi claps back at Boston rapper BIA<\/a>, whom she traded shots with last year. This morning, Cardi B explained on The Breakfast Club why she reignited the beef, saying she took exception to BIA mentioning her kids, Kulture and Wave, on last year\u2019s \u201cSUE MEEE?\u201d diss.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou mentioned my kids tryna be cute,\u201d Cardi said of BIA. \u201cShe did her little diss and it was trash\u2026 I could\u2019ve [left] it at that, but everything on social media is gonna be seen. When my kids grow up one day and they see that you mentioned them, they\u2019re gonna ask me, \u2018So what you said? What you did [in response]?\u2019 I\u2019m not gonna tell my kids, \u2018I felt like she took the high road cause she lost, cause people wasn\u2019t on her side.\u2019 Naw, I\u2019m not sayin\u2019 that to my kids. I\u2019m [gonna be] like, \u2018You see how I violated?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe war of words started last year when BIA rapped, \u201cI hear bitches poppin\u2019\u205fshit\u205fand\u205fthat\u2019s so funny\u205fto me\/ How you say you runnin\u2019 down but you can\u2019t walk on the beat?\u201d on Dreezy\u2019s \u201cBitch Duh\u201d remix. (This was believed to be<\/a> a nod to Cardi admitting she wanted to hop on a remix of Ice Spice\u2019s \u201cMunch,\u201d but couldn\u2019t \u201ccatch the beat for shit.\u201d)<\/p>\n

\n\tCardi replied on the remix of GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion\u2019s \u201cWanna Be,<\/a>\u201d rhyming, \u201cHope she talk like that when I see her\/Bitch, please, don\u2019t nobody wanna be ya.\u201d BIA then came back with \u201cSUE MEEE?,\u201d rapping, \u201cThought your ass was for the culture, you just tryin\u2019 to ride the wave\/You should be home with your kids \u2019cause bitch, you speak like second grade.\u201d The diss was widely panned, and the beef seemingly fizzled out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tBut Cardi woke it back up on her new album\u2019s most vitriolic track, coming out the gate with the challenge: \u201cName five BIA songs, gun pointin\u2019 to your head.\u201d She continued her lyrical assault from there, proclaiming, \u201cTalkin\u2019 about Kulture, you wildin\u2019,\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s been two years since you put a number on the board,\u201d and \u201cThey only book you when they can\u2019t afford Coi [Leray].\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCardi told The Breakfast Club that their beef started when BIA accused Cardi of copying her style. Cardi said the two had words, initially \u201ccussin each other out,\u201d until they had a \u201creal conversation\u201d where Cardi claimed she told BIA, \u201cListen: I\u2019m not copyin\u2019 you. You\u2019re not a person that I look at or that I\u2019m inspired by.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tShe then accused BIA of \u201cplanting a seed\u201d in the industry that Cardi was cheating on her ex-husband, Offset. \u201cYou was tryna mess things up in my home.
