Israeli strikes killed at least 12 Palestinians across the
\nGaza Strip, the enclave\u2019s Civil Defense stated on Sunday. <\/p>\n
Five people were killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit a
\ntent sheltering displaced civilians in northern Gaza, according to the Civil
\nDefense, with five more people were killed and several others wounded in a
\nseparate strike in the southern part of the enclave.<\/p>\n
In addition, one person was killed in an attack in Gaza
\nCity. Later, the Civil Defense said the death toll increased after another
\nindividual was shot by Israeli forces in northern Gaza.<\/p>\n
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that there will
\nbe no more threat to Israel from Gaza, reaffirming the need for Hamas
\ndisarmament. \u201cThere are no longer heavy weapons in Gaza, and Hamas is required
\nto hand over the remaining arms, including rifles, mortars, and launchers,\u201d he
\nadded. <\/p>\n
In a recorded address to AIPAC, Netanyahu said that Israel
\n\u201cgave President Donald Trump\u2019s plan<\/a> a chance, and we hope the goal of
\ndisarmament can be achieved the easy way.\u201d<\/p>\n
