Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday outlined
\nfour key demands for any future diplomatic agreement between the United States
\nand Iran.<\/p>\n

In a recorded address to AIPAC, Netanyahu said that \u201cmerely
\nhalting uranium enrichment is not enough,\u201d adding that dismantling Iran\u2019s
\nnuclear infrastructure, transferring all enriched uranium stocks out of the
\ncountry, reducing ballistic missile programs’ range to 300 km, and ending
\nsupport for armed groups across the region are also among the demands. <\/p>\n

US media reported that senior officials in the US military
\nand intelligence community are holding internal discussions on the possibility
\nof supporting a new round of Israeli strikes on Iran.<\/p>\n

CBS News revealed that in December 2025, US President Donald
\nTrump<\/a> told Netanyahu during a Mar-a-Lago meeting that he would \u201csupport Israeli
\nstrikes on Iran\u2019s ballistic missile program\u201d if Washington and Tehran failed to
\nreach an agreement.<\/p>\n

Two months later, CBS reported that internal deliberations
\nhad begun on potentially supporting a fresh Israeli campaign against Iran,
\naccording to two sources familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of
\nanonymity due to the sensitivity of national security discussions.<\/p>\n

Other US officials cited in the report said that the
\ndeliberations focused less on whether Israel would act and more on how the
\nUnited States could assist, including aerial refueling for Israeli aircraft and
\nthe \u201csensitive issue of obtaining overflight permissions\u201d from countries along
\npotential flight routes.<\/p>\n

It remains unclear which countries would grant the US
\npermission to use their airspace for refueling Israeli aircraft in preparation
\nfor a possible strike. Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates
\nhave publicly stated they will not allow their airspace to be used for strikes
\non Iran or for Iranian strikes on other countries.<\/p>\n

The second US aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford,
\nalong with its strike group, will be deployed to the Middle East to join the
\nexisting substantial US presence.<\/p>\n

Four US officials told CBS that a carrier strike group will
\nbe redeployed from the Caribbean, a move that would position massive firepower
\nwithin striking distance of Iran amid rising regional tensions.<\/p>\n

Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he \u201cprefers
\ndiplomacy\u201d regarding Iran, confirming that US envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared
\nKushner will travel to hold \u201cimportant meetings\u201d with Iranian officials,
\nadding, \u201cWe will see how things proceed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi departed<\/a> for Geneva,
\nSwitzerland, on Sunday at the head of a diplomatic delegation to take part in
\nthe second round of talks with the United States scheduled for next week.<\/p>\n

A statement from the country\u2019s Foreign Ministry noted that
\nAraghchi is expected to meet several international officials, including
\nSwitzerland\u2019s foreign minister, Oman\u2019s foreign minister, and the director
\ngeneral of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), along with other
\nrepresentatives based in Switzerland, to review developments related to the
