Bruce Springsteen<\/a> has lent his classic hit \u2018Born In The U.S.A.\u2019 to soundtrack a new anti-ICE video.<\/p>\n

The clip, which you can view below, shows footage of The Boss recently calling for ICE to \u201cget the fuck out of Minneapolis\u201d<\/a>, before it shows several victims that have been arrested by ICE agents in recent months and highlights the death of Renee Good who was fatally shot by ICE agent Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis on January 7.<\/p>\n

Springsteen can also be heard saying: \u201cThey\u2019re removing residents off America\u2019s streets and without due process and are deporting them to foreign detention centres and prisons,\u201d in the video.<\/p>\n

According to the\u00a0Asbury Park Press<\/a>, Springsteen authorised usage of his music video, various snippets of live footage, as well as narration from recent concerts in which he criticised Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s immigration policies.<\/p>\n

It comes after Springsteen recently gave his anti-ICE protest song \u2018Streets Of Minneapolis<\/a>\u2018 its live debut during a surprise appearance at a benefit show<\/a> hosted by Tom Morello<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The concert organised by Rage Against The Machine\u2019s Morello promised Minnesota locals a show of \u201csolidarity and resistance\u201d<\/a> in the wake of the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were both shot and killed by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on separate occasions in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

Pretti was killed on January 24 after he was shot 10 times in five seconds by an ICE officer. Both Good and Pretti were US citizens, and the latter had been involved in the protests unfolding in the wake of Good\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

The Trump Administration recently hit out at The Boss over what it branded the \u201cirrelevant\u201d song, with a spokesperson for the White House sharing a statement condemning it<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Trump administration is focused on encouraging state and local Democrats to work with federal law enforcement officers on removing dangerous criminal illegal aliens from their communities \u2013 not random songs with irrelevant opinions and inaccurate information,\u201d spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>.<\/p>\n
