It seems Keith Urban has been affected by his split from Nicole Kidman after 19 years of marriage. They share two doting daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. After the divorce, the actress became the primary residential parent of the children. Moreover, as per reports, Kidman will get 306 days a year with her daughters. Urban, however, will get 59 days with them.\u00a0Notably, it seems amid the busy schedule and the High and Alive Tour, the singer has realised the importance of family.<\/p>\n

According to RaradrOnline.com<\/a>, in his CBS and Paramount series, \u201cThe Road,\u201d the country singer opened up about his life. He shared that when you are on a tour, \u201cyou miss your friends, and you\u2019re missing your family. He even said, \u201cyou\u2019re completely lonely and miserable and sick.\u201d However, one has to remind themselves, \u201cWhy am I doing this?.\u2019 The only answer can be: Because this is what I\u2019m born to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

But according to an insider, post-divorce, the distance from his daughters has been difficult for the singer, and he finds his ex-wife\u2019s role in the kids\u2019 lives difficult to accept. \u201cKeith can\u2019t shake the feeling that the current custody arrangement, layered on top of his relentless touring schedule, has unintentionally pushed him to the sidelines,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

The source added that the guitarist \u201chates the idea of being reduced to a guest appearance in his daughters\u2019 lives. He wants \u201ca constant presence.\u201d Although Urban \u201cunderstands that Nicole is now their main anchor day to day.\u201d But he also shared that \u201creality is hard for him to accept.\u201d Due to this, the singer \u201cfears\u201d that their daughters \u201cmight interpret the distance as him choosing work over them.\u201d But, \u201cin his heart,\u201d Urban \u201cdoesn\u2019t see it that way at all.\u201d<\/p>\n
