\n\tDaniel Radcliffe<\/a> has a prediction: HBO\u2019s new Harry Potter<\/a> star is going to upstage him. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a YouTube segment, the actor was asked by ScreenRant<\/a> about HBO\u2019s new series which will adapt J.K. Rowling\u2019s novels across eight seasons. <\/p>\n

\n\tRadcliffe generously said he suspects the young actor playing Potter, Dominic McLaughlin, would be far better in the iconic lead role than he was.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m sure Dominic is going to be better than me,\u201d Radcliffe said. \u201cI learned as I went. I look back on what I did now with a lot more kindness, and I find it less embarrassing now that I\u2019m older. But I was very much learning how to do it for a long time on Potter.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tRadcliffe also had a request: Quit asking the original Harry Potter stars about the new actors playing their former roles, and vice versa.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen these kids got cast, there\u2019s a whole thing around the internet, around the world, people being like, \u2018We\u2019ve got to look after these kids,’\u201d he said. \u201cI was like, \u2018If you mean that, if everyone really means what they are saying, then one of the things you can do for me is not ask about me and Rupert [Grint about it] all the time.\u2019 I would like not to be weird spectral phantoms in these children\u2019s lives, and just to let them, like, get on it. Because it\u2019s going to be a new thing.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tRadcliffe is currently promoting his NBC sports comedy, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, where he plays a disgraced filmmaker making a documentary. <\/p>\n
