Throughout his amazing career, Salim has guided and mentored several leading figures in the film industry, including Shah Rukh Khan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In an old conversation with IANS back in 2018, Shah Rukh spoke extensively about Salim Khan\u2019s generosity and shared how the veteran screenwriter and his family stood by him during his struggling days. Recalling his early years in Mumbai, Shah Rukh revealed, \u201cThe first time I came to Mumbai as a struggling actor, I had my meals at Salman\u2019s place where Salim Khan ji supported me a lot. It is because of them I have become \u2018Shah Rukh Khan\u2019.\u201d <\/p>\n

In an earlier conversation with Instant Bollywood, Sooraj Pancholi reminisced about how Salim Khan\u2019s home at Galaxy Apartments was always open and welcoming, with no locks on the doors, allowing anyone to walk in and share a meal freely. He said, \u201cTheir Galaxy house was always open. Anyone who wanted to come, could come. No lock, always open. You could just push it anytime and walk right in. Whenever you wanted. You could open their fridge and eat whatever you want. I didn\u2019t do that, of course. You want their protein shake to drink? You want their vitamins or heat up their leftover biryani? No one\u2019s gonna say no.\u201d<\/p>\n

For those unaware, Salim Khan resides at Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai with his two wives, Salma Khan and Helen, along with his sons, Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, and Arbaaz Khan and their respective families. The entire Khan family lives together in the same building.
