He also cited Winston Churchill\u2019s 1921 remarks in favor of Jewish settlement, asking Cooper: \u201cWhat remains of the legacy of Balfour and Churchill?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-is=\"component-paragraph\">Sa\u2019ar denounced what he called a \u201chypocritical obsession\u201d with the Jewish presence in the West Bank, arguing that preventing Jews from living there would be both morally wrong and contrary to international law.
