Hilary Duff<\/a> is a duff-initely sad about her relationship with sister Haylie. She has confirmed that her song \u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk\u201d from her new album luck \u2026 or something<\/a> is about her sister. \u201cPeople ask me how you\u2019re doing \/ I wanna say amazing \/ But the truth is that I don\u2019t know,\u201d she sings on the track. \u201cWhat I always end up saying is how \/ We don\u2019t talk.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s definitely about my sister,\u201d Duff told Good Morning America during a February 20 segment. \u201cAnd just absolutely the most lonely part of my existence is not having my sister in my life at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The origin of the sisters\u2019 beef is currently still a mystery, whether it stems from politics, intra-family drama, or something unrelated. And Duff is still trying to keep parts of it private. Because of the public nature of the record, Duff says she \u201cstruggled\u201d with including the song on her album. \u201cI don\u2019t know if she\u2019ll hear it,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t know how she\u2019ll react to it. You know, it is a really personal part of my life that doesn\u2019t get to stay personal. So I might as well say how it is for me, and that\u2019s all I\u2019m trying to do. I\u2019m not trying to say anything bad. It\u2019s literally just my experience. And that\u2019s really all I feel like sharing.\u201d Clearly, Duff is good at setting boundaries.<\/p>\n
