After a long wait, the Dragon Ball franchise is finally continuing its story with the forthcoming release of Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol. While anticipation for that series is high, the series’ hypothetical next anime is going to change the hierarchy of power in the series’ universe with a new class of fighters.

Dragon Ball Super’s Next Anime Is Going To Be Beyond Hype

At the time of writing, there is no release date for Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol, meaning that fans might have to wait till 2027 to see the next chapter of Goku’s journey.

Once that’s out and completed, however, fans will undoubtedly set their sights on what’s next for Dragon Ball Super. If the anime follows the manga, then that will be an adaptation of the Granolah the Survivor arc.

The arc sees Goku and Vegeta challenged by a mysterious fighter with a grudge against Saiyans. Far from just another arc, however, the Granolah arc is going to introduce a new class of fighters who are objectively stronger than Goku and Vegeta.

The Two Strongest Fighters In Dragon Ball’s Universe Are Coming

"Dragon

The Granolah arc features one of Dragon Ball’s best wishes, as Granolah, and, later, another fighter named Gas, wish to become the strongest fighters in the universe.

Fueled by a strong desire for revenge against Saiyan, Granolah makes a bargain with the Eternal Dragon Toronbo. Toronbo agrees to make Granolah the strongest fighter in the universe, but he can only do so by condensing all the fighter’s potential into a relatively short time frame.

The result is that Granolah becomes ultra-powerful, but only has a handful of years to live.

The results speak for themselves. Though Goku and Vegeta put up an admirable fight against Granolah, they’re simply no match. Even Vegeta’s strongest Dragon Ball form loses out.

Dragon Ball Super’s Next Saga Will Test Goku and Vegeta Like Never Before

Goku and Vegeta aren’t always the pinnacle of power in Dragon Ball’s universe, but they usually get there by the end of each saga. Dragon Ball has always been about the Saiyan fighters growing stronger and developing as people.

With the upcoming Granolah anime, however, the series presents them with a rare challenge: A pair of fighters who Goku and Vegeta, by definition, can’t surpass.

What’s wild is that Granolah isn’t the only one like this, as another warrior named Gas eventually makes the same bargain Granolah did, making him even stronger than the person who already trounced Goku and Vegeta.

While manga fans are already well aware of the Granolah arc and just how absurdly strong its antagonists are, anime watchers are in for a genuine treat. Between big new forms and two of the series’ most powerful villains ever, the next Dragon Ball anime is going to get fans to lose their minds.

It’s undeniable that Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol is going to be huge, but all signs point to the franchise’s next anime being even bigger. With two fighters stronger than any Saiyan on the way, fans have every reason to get hyped for Dragon Ball’s future.

After a long wait, the Dragon Ball franchise is finally continuing its story with the forthcoming release of…

[29
146,85,46,411
post-302472","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-tv","tag-entertainment","tag-il","tag-israel","tag-tv
["GET
