Arshad Warsi<\/a> has opened up about why he agreed to join Shah Rukh Khan<\/a>\u2019s \u2018King\u2019 and Aryan Khan<\/a>\u2019s directorial debut \u2018The Ba***ds of Bollywood.\u2019 The actor said his bond with the Khans, not the script, influenced his choice. In a recent interview, Warsi shared that he said yes instantly when Aryan approached him and signed on to \u2018King\u2019 because of his friendship with Shah Rukh Khan.<\/p>\n

As reported by Network 18, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Warsi revealed he did not hesitate when Aryan Khan offered him a role in \u2018The Ba***ds of Bollywood.\u2019 He said, \u201cMaine kiya abhi, Aryan ke liye kiya aur King ke liye because I like Aryan and Shah Rukh. I like those people. If they\u2019ll ask me, I\u2019ll do it.”Warsi played underworld don Ghafoor Ismail in the Netflix series and won praise for his comic timing. The show marked Aryan Khan\u2019s directorial debut and featured Lakshya, Sahher Bamba, Anya Singh, Rajat Bedi, Mona Singh, Raghav Juyal, and Bobby Deol in key roles. Emraan Hashmi and Shah Rukh Khan appeared in cameo roles. <\/p>\n

Praise for Suhana Khan and update on \u2018King\u2019<\/p>\n

Warsi is now working with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan on \u2018King,\u2019 directed by Siddharth Anand. He praised Suhana as well, saying, \u201cThere\u2019s not an ounce of bad behavior in both of them. They are bound to succeed. There\u2019s too much goodwill going on.”\u2018King\u2019 also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, and Abhay Verma. The film is scheduled to release on December 24, 2026.
