Just like Samsung\u2019s recent aggressive promotions, which saw the Korean company give away a free laptop with Galaxy phone purchases,<\/a> Google is also preparing for the sale season with a new Google Pixel 10 giveaway.<\/p>\n The search company is crediting the Google Wallets of Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro buyers with a prepaid Mastercard worth $100 in the U.S. It doesn\u2019t have to be spent on the Google Store; the prepaid card can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted, and spent on anything.<\/p>\n ForbesGoogle Gives Away $200 To Pixel 10 Buyers In New Limited-Time OfferBy Janhoi McGregor<\/a><\/p>\n The deal runs from September 14th to September 28th and is exclusive to Google Pixel buyers in the U.S. Google says Pixel 10 Pro buyers will receive an email within 15 days with instructions on how to add the $100 credit to their Google Wallet. The $100 has to be used by May 28th 2026.<\/p>\n Google is clearly focussing on voucher deals as a way to entice prospective buyers. Earlier this month, the company offered up to $350 in store credit to anyone who bought a Pixel 10<\/a>, Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro Fold. I don\u2019t recall the company running this offer in previous sales. Why now? Google celebrates its birthday on September 27th with a short-term sale every year. In 2024, Google raised trade-in prices for the Pixel 9 series<\/a>, and in previous years, it has discounted its most popular smart home tech<\/a>. The company is teasing \u201csomething special\u201d for its birthday, so this deal is likely part of the run-up to next week\u2019s sale.<\/p>\n The Is The Time To Buy Google Tech<\/p>\n All of the major 2025 handsets from the main smartphone makers have now been released. We\u2019re now into the heavy discount season and we\u2019re already seeing the likes of Samsung move aggressively out of the gate with major giveaways and price drops.<\/p>\n The Korean company is giving away both a pair of Galaxy Buds3 Pro and a Galaxy Chromebook Go 14\u201d with all Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 purchases. A free Galaxy Watch 7 has also been bundled with the Galaxy S25 FE<\/a>, while the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra comes with a year\u2019s subscription to Google AI Pro.<\/p>\n ForbesSamsung\u2019s 2025 Flagship Phones Come With Free Google AIBy Janhoi McGregor<\/a><\/p>\n Google, too, has discounted the base Pixel 9 by $100. The company is also clearing out the last of its Google Pixel 8 Pro stock by knocking it down to $599, and bundling it with a Pixel Watch 2. That $599 matches the company\u2019s recent Pxiel 8 Pro price drops. Realistically, Google should drop that price further, considering it is a two-year-old device. But I suspect $600 is the lowest the company will sell a brand new \u2018Pro\u2019 Pixel phone on its store.<\/p>\n The Pixel 8 Pro isn\u2019t a bad purchase if you\u2019re on a serious budget, despite its age, considering many of Google\u2019s best features are software-based that filter down to older units.
