{"id":304844,"date":"2026-02-22T19:27:29","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T19:27:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/304844\/"},"modified":"2026-02-22T19:27:29","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T19:27:29","slug":"ri-us-firms-ink-deals-worth-38-4-billion-as-part-of-trade-pact-economy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/304844\/","title":{"rendered":"RI, US firms ink deals worth $38.4 billion as part of trade pact &#8211; Economy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"tjp-opening__txt\">ompanies from Indonesia and the United States have inked deals worth US$38.4 billion ahead of President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thejakartapost.com\/indonesia\/2023\/11\/24\/candidate-profile-prabowo-subianto.html\" class=\"tjp-bio--hover\" data-slug=\"prabowo-subianto\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Prabowo Subianto<\/a>\u2019s meeting with US President Donald Trump to seal a bilateral trade pact, in a move analysts say could smooth negotiations for lower tariffs.<\/p>\n<p>The 11 memorandums of understanding (MoUs), signed during a business summit hosted on Wednesday by the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC, include agreements on manufacturing and agriculture as well as on semiconductors and strategic industrial materials.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m here to conclude a major trade agreement between our two countries.
