\n Kate Taylor, founder of Wimborne-based femtech and lingerie brand Evenly, won the \u00a37,500 top prize at the Small Business Sunday (#SBS) x NatWest Accelerator Live Pitch Competition.\n<\/p>\n
\n The event was hosted by retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis at the ICC in Birmingham on February 20.\n<\/p>\n

\n Ms Taylor said: “Winning this is incredibly special\u2014not just for me, but for the women who have shared their stories and helped shape Evenly.\n<\/p>\n
\n “This recognition shows how important it is to support these women who have historically been overlooked.”\n<\/p>\n
\n She was one of three businesses selected from more than 100 applicants to pitch live on stage.\n<\/p>\n
\n Her pitch was delivered in front of a judging panel and an audience of over 1,000 entrepreneurs.\n<\/p>\n
\n Evenly creates non-surgical products for women with breast asymmetry, offering solutions to improve comfort, support, and confidence.\n<\/p>\n

\n Mr Paphitis said: “All people have ideas, but the difference is getting off your backside and doing something about it and creating a business.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Having looked at the product and done my research on you, I know you\u2019re going to be a big success\u2014congratulations.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The judging panel also included broadcaster and campaigner Katie Piper OBE.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Piper said: “I thought your pitch was brilliant\u2014I really understood what you do and why you\u2019re doing it.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It\u2019s a clear problem and you have a solution.\n<\/p>\n
\n “For so long women have been told to put up and stay silent with so many problems that have a stigma and a taboo attached to them, and we want more\u2014and you’re delivering that.”\n<\/p>\n

\n Evenly has grown into a profitable global business, serving customers in more than 40 countries.\n<\/p>\n
\n The company has previously received the Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award and was named Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.\n<\/p>\n
\n Other accolades include recognition for export and entrepreneurship.\n<\/p>\n
\n The latest award will help support Evenly\u2019s ongoing international expansion and development of new products.\n<\/p>\n
